A globe-shaped structure is one of four artworks students and faculty may have noticed in a new place on campus. Four sculptures were moved Sept. 13 to be in more visible locations around campus. Al Wildey, art department chairman, said the Art on Campus committee voted in approval of the project in June.

NEWPORT NEWS A fire at The Arbors apartments on Mary Robert Lane displaced several families Thursday evening, WVEC-TV was reporting. The fire was reported shortly after 5 p.m., dispatchers said.
